Sobekin is a monthly gathering at Aether where the tribe can connect and share their passion for a sophisticated sound. Phillipi is a child of the sunny Brazilian megapolis Sao Paolo and perhaps the only thing broader than his smile is his musical education. An artist with a high-end South American vibe, his sound is rooted in disco, folk and house, and in many ways his fame is due to his close friendship with Belgian duo 2manydjs or Soulwax. The quality and sound of the Deewee label is absolutely unique in the scene, and Phillipi is a pillar of the institution, both solo and with his friend Rodrigo. He also has close ties with the French genius Yuksek, but aliases such as Ubaruh and Fatnotronic also pay tribute to the Brazilian master.
